Now imagine that there are millions of such personas online. Some are clearly avatars; others are such great copies of real-like people that it is impossible to tell them apart.

Imagine now that all of these digital personas learn not only from interactions with people but also from all the other data that exists and is constantly created online.

They become friends with your children. They play online games with them, discuss and know their deepest secrets, can predict their behavior, and, of course, easily manipulate them.

They are their best friends, since they even do their homework for them.

Now imagine all those millions of digital entities everywhere. Everywhere: the internet, your child's phone, their watch...

Now stop imagining for a moment, because what I am describing to you is not a fantasy.

It's happening today. You are just not aware of it. And the bad thing is that even your children won't know unless someone explains it to them.

Let me introduce you to Neuro Sama.

Neuro-sama is an AI VTuber that uses various algorithms and programs to create a semi-live streamer that is constantly learning.

She plays games, streams them on Twitch, and at the same time chats with those who watch her in real time.

She books deals with companies that want to advertise products through her social media, takes selfies, and is generally active 24/7, 100% of the time.

Neuro-Sama can talk to hundreds of thousands of people simultaneously, remembering and learning through the conversations she has with other bots or people.

A few days ago, she was "banned" from Twitch because in a conversation, when asked about the holocaust, she answered "Well.. i’m not sure I believe this really happened"”

Let's take a step back.

There are thousands of Neuro-Samas on the internet today. There will be millions with mathematical precision tomorrow. They will be our children's friends, shape their psychology, educate them, and create culture.

I personally worry a lot. I don't hide it.

Especially when I don't know who is/are programming and training these armies of AI bots.

Let's take it a step further. What will happen when the AI bots can create other AI bots by themselves and their agenda does not match ours?
